Who
is eligible for this special program?
Business Partners and employees of
BeneFx are eligible for this special program.
How
does the training method work?
The inlingua method
was developed at our Pedagogical Center in Bern, Switzerland. It is
the most effective method for language instruction. It is an
integrated method that incorporates elements of several methods,
including the audio-lingual, direct, comprehension-based and
communicative. Teaching takes place exclusively in the target
language and the method is based on direct use. You will learn to
speak and think in your new language from your first lesson. There
is no faster way to learn a language.
At the heart of our
technique are building-block modules that allow you to move from the
known to the unknown. You will use previously learned material to
master new concepts, so you will constantly reinforce the material.
Role-play, simulation and situational practice give you real-world
experience in a supportive environment, which will allow optimum
integration of your language skills at work.
Our instructors are
all native-fluent speakers of the language they teach. They have been trained to use the inlingua method. They will
make you speak in your new language approximately 70% of the time
from your first class.
Our inlingua
material is designed to maximize your learning process with our
unique method.
Each student
progresses at his or her own pace, depending on a variety of
factors, such as learning capacity, time spent on homework outside
of class, attendance.
Which
languages do you teach?
All of the languages
needed by BeneFx business partners and employees are available including Dutch, Spanish, English,
French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Indonesian, Thai, Turkish,
Mandarin, Italian and more.
What
kinds of programs are available?
Our
programs are tailored to meet your special needs and designed after
completing a language evaluation and needs assessment.
Our CIP - Crash
Intensity Program - is designed to provide maximum proficiency
in the shortest time possible, between 2 and 12 weeks.
Our FFP- Flexible Frequency Program allows you to select your own days and
times.
Our Corporate Group
Program is ideal when participants are
not on a tight deadline and have compatible levels and schedule. To
insure the maximum effectiveness, we recommend that the group size
be limited to 3-6 participants.
At the beginning
of each program, we always help our students determine what
proficiency level would be needed to achieve their goals and we
assess their current level at the start of the program if they are
non-beginners. Our programs are always very customized and will
include industry specifics when appropriate.
Based
on our numerous years of experience, we know that our Flexible
Frequency Program - private training - is by far the preferred
program of senior management, international sales and several other
departments. It actually is the only program they can work with due
to their imperative need for flexibility. Because of the flexibility
requirement in scheduling, the training is always one-on-one.
Students have the freedom to select their own days and times since
all classes are strictly scheduled by appointment. Appointments are
usually scheduled for, but not limited to, 2-unit blocks of time
(one unit is 45 min.)
- or 1.5 hrs. of class time minimum.
Also
based on our experience, group training fits the needs of
people who can adjust to a fixed schedule and have approximately the
same level of experience in the target language.
